CDA to construct 4,400 housing units, three roads
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday approved the construction of 4,400 low-cost apartments, three roads and the establishment of Metropolitan Police in a bid to develop the metropolis.
According to the officials, the apartments will be constructed in the Alipur Farash area for the displaced people of katchi abadis and will be allotted through auction.
As per the details, the CDA board further approved the establishment of Metropolitan Police and the construction of three roads (Margalla Avenue, I.J.P. Road and 10th Avenue)
The Metropolitan Police is to assist the citizens in public spaces while the network of roads is to improve inter-city connectivity.
