RRR project contract to be awarded to govt. companies only

RAWALPINDI: As per recent developments, the contract for the Rawalpindi Ring Road project will only be awarded to a governmental construction company, including NLC, FWO and NC. The work on the project – scheduled to be completed within two years, will be launched by mid-April, after a public hearing session by the Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (PEPA) to minimize its implications on the environment. RDA campaign against illegal housing schemes

RAWALPINDI: While campaigning against illegal housing schemes, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) advised the general public against investing in unauthorised projects. Over 300 unapproved housing societies are operating in the garrison city, revealed RDA. The allottees have been asked to contact RDA to file a case against the illegal housing societies’ owners.
